APPLY VERNIS FLUOR
In nature, Fluorine is always in a state in combination with another substance such as calcium and phosphate. In food form, fluoride is found in sea fish, tea, vegetables, cereals (beans, corn, etc.), bones and teeth of humans and animals.
Since the 40s of the last century, scientists have discovered the ability of Fluoride to prevent tooth decay. At that time, to prevent tooth decay, Fluoride is provided mainly through the body (such as Fluor in drinking water, table salt, Fluoride tablets). But from the 70s-80s, when the topical effect (acting directly on the tooth surface) of Fluorine was recognized and appreciated in the prevention and control of tooth decay as well as tooth sensitivity, products containing Fluoride used directly on teeth such as toothpaste, mouthwash, Fluor gel, vernis Fluor is increasingly popular.
DEPARTMENT FLUOR TREATMENT
When your dentist assesses you that you are at moderate to high risk of tooth decay, intensive Fluoride treatment is necessary to prevent and control cavities. Fluoride used in the dental office has higher concentrations than in toothpaste or mouthwash.
Intensive Fluoride treatment usually takes a few minutes and is painless. Fluoride can be in the form of a solution, gel, cream foam, or vernis. Fluoride is applied topically by applying it directly to the teeth with a cotton ball or brush, as a mouthwash, or placed in a tray and kept in the mouth for a few minutes.
After the treatment, the doctor will ask you not to rinse your mouth, eat or drink for at least 30 minutes so that the enamel surface can absorb Fluor.
Intensive Fluoride Treatment may be prescribed every 3, 6 or 12 months depending on your oral health.
